The case of James Cameron’s Avatar is even more emblematic because, precisely to avoid the revival of the film not yet present in theaters, it intends to present itself as an “alternative story” to that narrated by the director. Too many times we have experienced firsthand the disappointment of titles that had little or nothing in common with the original products that generated them. This, as we all know, is not true at all. The logic of the tie-in is simple: if you’ve loved the movie, there’s a good chance you might love the video game too.
